Articles of Accord of the Crew of the Drunken Harlot

I. Authority & Command
- The Drunken Harlot is Captained by the one who owns her, Aife Mjochna. Her command is not questioned, even in absence.- Ryouji Lysander, named Quartermaster of the ship by the Captain, is therefore second-in-command by default. Until such time anyone else is bonded to the helm and her systems, if the Drunken Harlot is in the air, he's in control.- The Captain my appoint a Commander for an expedition, or defer her active command temporarily. In such cases, the Quartermaster serves unless a Commander has been designated.
The Commander of Record for a venture holds tactical command. All orders given under this chain are bunding unless they break the Accord or endanger the Harlot.
In the absence of the Captain, the Quartermaster or an appointed Commander, the Head Chirurgeon- Rhapsody Redwood- has commanding authority.
II. Division of Spoils
- All spoils- coin, relic, tech, crystal, cargo, or secret- are split evenly among all active crew who sailed the venture, unless the voices of the crew who are present deem a new asset to be for general crew use or belong to the crew as an entity, as like to the Drunken Harlot Crew's ownership of the crew and operations of The Mad Corsair.- Items of personal or magical resonance may be claimed, but such claims must be spoken aloud and arbitrated before division.- Theft from the Harlot or her crew is theft from the whole. First offense: censure and watch. Second: the fall.
III. Conduct Aboard
- No gambling while aboard. The Harlot's engines are already powered by risk.- No drinking alone. We carry each other's ghosts so we don't get drowned in our own.
Any duel or dispute is to be arbitrated by the Captain. If the Captain is party to the matter or absent, the Commander (if appointed) or Quartermaster will arbitrate.- No trafficking of people. No barter, no favor, no price. This clause is sacred. Violation earns immediate ejection from the Harlot. No trial. No rope.
IV. The Blood Clause
- The Blood Clause holds that all members of the crew watch out for other members of the crew, for an affront to one is an affront to all.- Any crew member may invoke the Blood Clause, calling the crew to resolve a personal matter, if they believe the crew is suited.
- Once invoked, a vote is held. Majority binds. Abstention is allowed; abandonment is not.
V. Justice Among Us
- Minor offenses (petty theft, reckless endangerment, tech misuse, unsanctioned dueling, etc.) are judged by the Captain or current acting Commander/Quartermaster.- Major offenses (sabotage, betrayal, grievous harm, threat to the ship or crew) require a trial of voice.
- All crew may speak
- Final judgment lies with the Captain. If the Captain is absent or has passed judgment to another, that ruling stands in her name.
- Punishments include labor, confinement, exile, memory branding, or high-altitude discharge with aether-dampening restraints.
VI. Oaths & Departures
- New crew must recite the Articles aloud before at least one witness.- This witness must be trusted to this task by the Captain, Quartermaster, or Head Chirurgeon.- Those names undersigned are bound by these articles when aboard the Drunken Harlot, and afield while on missions/excursions.
- The Blood Clause holds at all times.- Any may leave freely unless they bear unpaid debts or sworn secrets.
Departure is a choice. Betrayal is gravity. Choose wisely.
Expectations of Patrons
➼ All patrons MUST be 21+ IC & OOC➼ IC ≠ OOC➼ /Yell and /Shout chats are for the Crew Only➼ NO Lalafell EVER➼ No patrons behind the bar or on the performance stage without checking with staff first➼ No touching of crew members without getting consent from them first➼ CW: RP will, at times, contain heavy elements of mature activities, including but not limited to: Strong Language; Alcohol; Tobacco; Drugs; Nudity; Sexual Content; Violence; Blood➼ ERP inside the bar is allowed but if anyone is uncomfortable with your scene please respect that and move to whispers, party chat or private rooms.➼ OOC Consent is strictly enforced.
